We make your puppy look like a star. From breed trims to teddy bears to kennel clips, your dog can look his best no matter what! With high quality equipment, and a knowledgeable groomer, your pet will be safe and stylish. We strive to make a pet’s stay as comfortable as possible, sometime this means grooming a large, older dog on the floor instead of the table so he can lie down, or just taking extra time to go slowly for dogs that need it. Please note: Some large dog restrictions do apply.

Included In Our Grooms
Nail Clipping. Proper nail care is vital in keeping your dog feeling his best. Long nails are uncomfortable for a dog to walk on, and can encourage slips on smooth surfaces.
Ear Plucking and/or Cleaning by request. Vet opinion on ear plucking has been changing, so we now do ear plucking only by request but it remains a free service with the groom. Removing excess hair from the inner ear may help promote good ear health. Long hair in the ear can hold moisture which can encourage an infection, plucking the hair allows airflow to keep the ear dry. Cleaning the ears removes discharge and build up which can be uncomfortable for the dog and, like long inner ear hair, encourages problems to form.
Thorough bath with high quality shampoos (we mainly use K9 Competition products). We select the best type/combination of shampoos for your dog’s coat and a blueberry facial scrub. All dogs get scrubbed twice to ensure they come out fresh and clean.
Blowdrying by hand. This technique is extremely important to getting a great looking groom. It fluffs and straightens the hair which makes the hair look better, as well as allowing the groomer to do a better, more even, more stylized groom. Drying a dog in a kennel dryer cannot produce the same beautiful result as properly hand drying a dog. (Exceptions are made for dogs that find hand drying stressful, we believe the dog’s comfort and well-being come first)
Brush out. All tangles are removed during the groom. Tangles/matting can become very uncomfortable to a dog due to the pull they create on the skin. It can also cause skin problems due to holding dirt and moisture against the skin so removing or, better yet, preventing tangles is very important. We encourage clients to bring their dogs in before they become tangled for the dog’s well being. We do not brush out badly matted dogs as the dog’s comfort comes before looks. (dematting costs are in addition to grooming costs)
Styling of your choice. When you come in, we will ask you questions upon what kind of haircut you would like your pet to receive. We will then do our best to give you the exact groom that you desire. Our goal is to make you and your dog happy! We sometimes have to modify the groom due to matting, coat type, health problems (such as if the dog has recently had surgery), etc. but we always try to make what you envision come to life!
